About Carrie

Carrie has been a dental hygienist with the practice for over 20 years. It has been her greatest pleasure to work with patients that have become like family. She enjoys working with patients to not only improve their oral health, but be an advocate in their overall health and wellness.
Carrie graduated from Allegany College of Maryland in 2000 with her degree in dental hygiene. In recent years, she has focused on specialized education in sleep disordered breathing in children and adults. Carrie went on to become one of the first Myofunctional Therapists to practice in Southern Maryland. She has studied with world renowned doctors and Myofunctional Therapists at the Breathe Institute including the 9 month MyoMasterminds Program and also through the International Association of Orofacial Myology.
In her personal time, Carrie loves to spend time with her husband and 2 boys. As a family, they love to travel and stay active. She is also a NASM certified personal trainer and paddle board instructor.
